Description
Hello!!
Well, here is yet another flower that was locked up in the zoo. I of course have no idea what it is. This isn't the best picture of it but it's as close as I could get. The petals are fuzzy-looking and very colorful. I really liked how the sun was lighting this one up. Hope you guys like it too! :)
Thanks for the encouraging comments on my last upload, Pretty Parrots. To those few that comment on most of my images faithfully, I want you to know how much it means to me. And for those new faces that comment, I really appreciate you, too. :)
Thanks for taking a peek and hope you all have a wonderful day! :)

The light coming through the petals is gorgeous. Beautiful shot.
That is indeed a very beautiful flower Danielle. Is it okay to feed the flowers at least when going to the zoo? #:o/ And i couldnt agree more with you concerning the light. It sure is beautiful. Hope you get to have a wonderful day! #:O)
Beautiful shot indeed. Truly stunning light. This flower is a Protea, a plant native to South Africa. Thank you for showing her beauty to us all. Hugs. Di.
Wondeful Shot of a a wonderful flower again Danila :) For some reason it reminds me of the PINEAPPLE :)) "ANANAS" :P Love the details on the petals and the colours are indeed beautiful.. Thank you for the upload Ms.Daniela =) and hope to see the next one when i come back..Sigh!! Have a super wonderful day JOE
The colours are beautiful - a translucent red! Di is right, my guess would be the narrow leafed protea (nerifolia) and is indigenous to South Africa.
Just a untique bloom and a very good pov with excellent lighting. Adding your skill with your camera - Great job and very eye-catching.
The lighting makes it look like a torch. Beautiful shot.
Nice backlighting on that gorgeous flower (whatever it is!).
