Description
Whilst a fairly modern Cathedral by modern day standards, Truro Cathedral has a stunning Rose Window on the West side that faces into the City square.. I have tried to capture some of the detail of its construction, how it was built seems a mystery, and superb craftmanship..

Most beautiful detail! Excellent shot!!!!
Fantastic and impressive vitreaux my friend.....!!! Wonderful photo.....!!!
truly beautiful !
Very ornate and exceptionally beautiful.
Some of the indiviual panels have the same image, so I suppose the glass pieces could have been mass produced, but somehow I doubt it. To think of the innumerable man-hours invested in this artwork is mind-boggling. There are times when the human race really is inspiring. A wonderful photograph and presentation, Danny.
impressiv work of vindows in this capture my friend, excellent capture !!! Good day and hugs ;)
Very impressive. Nothing more awe inspiring than seeing these from the inside with the light shining in. They are marvels of craftmanship. Lovely shot!

Agree Danny, it is a fantastic work. I can just imagine how it looks from the inside when the sun shines through. Exquisite craftmanship and a great capture.
It's always a wonderful reminder of how much time invested into these fabulous pieces of history. We've grown into a hurried world...sigh... Thanks Danny!!!!!
I can easily think of what you feel..the way buildings were built in the old days was impressive... This picture shows great beauty.
stunning details and a master stone mason had to have set the stones
Beautiful symmetry - I'd love to see this on a very sunny day, from inside with shafts of light falling on the floor of the cathedral.
