doves are so skiddish that this is an incredible shot just because you got close enough but also because the clarity and view is great!

That's cute! I don't know if Doves mate for life, but this picture would certainly support the premise. What a wonderful capture - so see this and get such a great shot at a moment's notice is very impressive.
I am a breeder of doves. I raise and hand-tame them for loving pets. The two in this wonderful photo are called "inca doves", also known as "peaceful dove". These birds do not mate for life always but can and do sometimes. I love working with the doves; they are such sweet and beautiful birds.
