Thanks for this beautiful shot Danny! When I lived in the southest part of Sweden they grew everywhere in my garden, but they did not survive the move up to colder parts of the country, when I moved there. Missed them very much, the have such grace, just as here in your photo.

At first I've seen your photograph, and to see Yellow Poppies is a big discovery for me, it's the first time I heard about and see them. Wonderful, you know it's my favorite flower. And then I see the tittle of this shot... and it was as an enourmous wave of emotions. I don't know if Giancarlo had tell you that for more than 30 years he was a Biker, he has always feel free on is moto, and as the horse for a Cow-Boy, all the ones he had had a story, and a particular feeling. This song "Blowin in the wind" (the version of Joan Baez) was his favorite song, and as for millions of other youngs of this generation, it was THE song of Freedom. It's also the one Giancarlo has choose for his cremation, his last song... It has always be a joy to hear this song together, because it has the same signification for both of us. Now even if I love it, I can't listen it without seen terrible images, a big door open, the fire, and the coffin of Giancarlo slowly going in... But if it's always hard for me to think of his dead, you could be shure than he'll have loved this shot, and that it's a perfect tittle for it. I could hear him laught and feel his large smile ;o)))You have so many things in common with my old Bear Danny ! I hope one day, in another life, we could seat together, and speak about the world in a peaceful place as this one. So many Hugs my friend.
