is this 2d or 3d? if 3d, how did you get the toon shading?
very cool! love the strong shadows and that yellow really makes the page pop! Hope you're up to more. Did u use Olivier's Art Shaders or something else?
Yes if you're going to do cartoons, Olivier's Art Shaders are the way to go it takes a bit of work to figure out how to get the best results but when you do, than it can produce some great effects and gets away from the standard 3d look.
There is AdamWright Photoshop Actions also that gives marvelous results, on sale here at Renderosity. Anyway that image is a perfect success, very beautiful at every point of view, and the character is quite interesting too.
