Description
Ok, so it's combining two previous pictures themes :) But I liked the thought so...it happened. Plus, it's male seahorses which become 'pregnant' (they carry the eggs in a stomach-pouch until they hatch) and I rather liked the yin-yang balance that created.
Blimey, that was deep! Better shut up and put up some credits ;) Advice, comments and general thoughts always most welcome. Have fun and happy rendering to all.

Rendered in Daz3D, postworked in good ol' Photoshop Elements.
A big thanks too for all those who take the time to share their considerable talent & write tutorials. It's a wonderful thing and gives heart and inspiration! Keep it up :) (I don't have any particular one in mind, but it's about time they got another shout-out from me).

WOW......What a delightful and sweetly scene!!!!!!!!!!!Marvelous work!!!Bravo!V:DDD.HUgsxx
Really cute! The little seahorses are adorable. Quite an amusing twist on being "preggars." You really push the envelope with DAZ Studio, which is reassuring after seeing it bashed and battered in so many forum threads. Plus it's nice to see some of the older DAZ models showing up in new pics. Bravo!
Lovely underwater pose. Like your bubbles too :)
BEAUTIFUL!!!
Very nice compostion! I also love that you told a fact about seahorses, I had no idea. I do want to give some constructive comment and please dont take it personally. I think the pose work of the mermaid looks a little uncomfortable the body shape looks some what unnatural. I really like this image and I love mermaids, thanks for sharing this piece with us.....ps have a good weekend!.....Shannon ;}
This seahorses are so cute!
..Hi Shanpoo :) Just to say thanks for the contructive criticism - it's always appreciated as it helps me to create better pictures - and I've found that people don't leave comments on pics they dislike, just the ones they care enough about to want to see improved, so I always see it as a compliment too :) I do tend to make my merfolk muscular - possibly as I work in sports and see everyday what a lifetime in the water (and other constant physical activity) does to physiology - but fantasy art is just that - fantasy - and I also love other folks interpretation of softer and more rounded creatures. It's always interesting to see what people think. Yes, she does look a little uncomfortable, hence the title of the piece, and that's mostly based on observations of my sister shortly before she had her baby ;) not that I think she intended on being a model! And to some extent the limitations of the old Daz mermaid tail which is a bit stiff. But hey, maybe that's just excuses too, and I'll know to strive for a more fluid look next time. Cheers to everyone for taking the time to comment and critique - it's lovely and much appreciated - it encourages me to keep rendering and it really helps me to improve along the way. Have a great day all Skip1871 PS: Yeah, seahorses are just naturally cute.. love 'em ;)
