Description
This Herron sat beside the river so still, never blinked, moved or anything, for SO LONG, and he let me get SO CLOSE, I truly was beginning to think he was a lawn ornament. I couldn't believe how close I got. I got so many pictures of him, I don't know what to do with them all, LOL, so thought I'd upload at least one of them.
Thanks so much for stopping by and for any comments you may leave. I have yet to play catch up here .. but will tonight. :)
Take care, and have a great day!
Shari

heron :) a wonderful image....well done you must be invisible to birds or something...
EXCELLENT capture so close and sharp .!! what a beautiful profile pose i like his big feet there in the grass...that is new for me to see him sitting so i love it!! ...*****!! tops!
Excellent picture. Most of the herons around here aren't so nice about letting you get this close. Glad you could.
Wow!!!! You are soooo lucky!!! I see these guys all the time, but can never get close to them, no matter what I do!!!! Can't wait to see more!!!
wow... I've never seen a Heron this close, either. They are in our pond often. I wonder if it is injured? I only say that because of the way it is sitting... Very nice profile, Shari! :0)
WooHoo Shari, your bird pics are coming right along!! What a treat to get this guy, they are quite skiddish but this one does seem like a lawn ornament if you got this close....Well done! Aloha!
Very good profile shot, I hope the bird is ok - excellent framing.
What a gorgeous bird!! And the animals have so much confidence in you!
Excellent image... I love these birds..... Hugs Susan~
20 stars!!! BRAVO!!!! Standing ovation! Throwing roses on the stage. Well,...you get the point! :)
What a beautiful bird and wonderful capture. Very good focus. I immediately noticed the feathers swooping down the back. Great job.
I don't think I've ever seen a heron in a sitting position like this. You must have hypnotised him to stay still like that...what ever you did, you have a great picture here.
Now I'm waiting for him to blink... still waiting... (excellent fullframe shot!)
EXCELLENT AND A ABSOLUTELY AWESOME IMAGE AND GALLERIE !!!! ~~()~~
Excellent capture. I can't believe he was sitting like that.
