Description
Someone asked if I had a splash photo of the glacier calving, so I dug this one up. Once again, there are some big pieces falling about the middle of the photo on the right side. There's no scale on this, but there's just not much I can do about it. :-)
Thanks for looking and any comments.

Thanks for posting this. I was lucky enough to go on a cruise to Alaska, and we spent a day stopped in the glaciers. Your photo reminds me of how blue the ice is and how crystal clear the sky is. You captured the sheer magnificence beautifully.
What a unique capture, and the color of the glacier is beautiful. Wow!
extreme splender you have captured
Wow I cant even imagine the actucal scale of this. Amazing.
Wow, what a powerful capture! Very nicely done!
Oh but there is scale to me Dennis. Awesome and spectacular image.
I think that was me! Thank You! Tremendous power!
Fantastic photograph.
unbelivable landscape!!! perfect crop!
A wonderful capture. What a thrill for you to see this. Thanks for sharing.
awsome site and image.
WOW!! Great shot of the glacier calving!!! Thanks for sharing as I can hear the loud explosive noise and feel the cold air as it rushes past. HUGS!!!
An amazing capture - the depth of blue is stunning. I can tell that the cliff is immense, yet some measure of scale would be nice. I'm looking at it as if it were one of my waterfall shots, and thinking it's about three times as big as it initially appears in the photo. What an awesome vacation you're having! Thanks for taking the time out to share these marvelous photos.
Blue it is and what a great spash capture. I know how big in scle these can be, so in saying a great capture!
Breathtaking. It must be HUGE!! :~))
