Description
Was not sure about posting any of the shots I took out in the rain as tropical storm Alberto was blowing by, but decided to go ahead and post this one. The rain had this dragonfly grounded so that I could photograph him but the extreme overcast conditions and rain made it especially difficult to get a good shot. Thank you for your much appreciated comments on my "Beautiful Perch" series! Hope everyone has a wonderful evening!

Very excellent. This creature looks almost imaginary with the tiger strips and big eyes. Wonderful.

This is just so unreal! Sooooo close and huge! A very beautiful shot, and especially well done considering that your studio light (the sun) was so dim!
Oh MG! Look at those wing detailes! Incredable shot this one!!
Super close! Excellent work!
whoa as usual. great macro, the colors captured in the eyes are stupendous!
Great photograph. This critter looks like a costumed character and ready to spring into action. Wonderful!!!! HUGS!!!
I have to give credit where credit is due: nobody does it half as good (well, maybe that's a little unfair to the others LOL). Incredible stuff again! You really got this in your fingers (and in your cam), and I don't see the weather conditions to be a problem for ya either. Bravo!
fantastic macroshot ! Bravo !
Wonderful macro, I just love the water drops on its legs!
Once again you have me shaking my head in wonderment. Girl you really got in close for this one. I love how there are little droplets of water resting on it's thorax and legs. I'm glad to see you made it through Alberto OK. We just got a lot of rain up here in SC. We needed it though, so I'm not complaining. Great shot, Wendy. I'm very impressed!!!
Excellent macro, some of the best photo's are made under the worst conditions.
This is a fantastic shot! Outstanding!
Absolutely amazing, it looks to have a smile. Gorgeous macro. Too bad you can't vote a 10.
Totally awesome photography, Wendy. Love his wings, like little whispers. Hugs. Di.
