So.. I'll try this agaim as yesterday it got wiped off the face of the earth for no reason *shrugs*
As I said yesterday,somewhat lost patience with this one in the end. So thought it best I left it well alone and call it 'finished' and move on the next.Was a good exercise for me at the end of the day.
Thanks for watching this unfold and for your suggestions that you made along the way. Now it's onto my next project and also trying to teach my other half to paint *lol*

Very very nice ! I notice that the amount of detail increases significantly for the subject face as compared to the rest of the image. Did you use a photograph as a starting point or did you create it from scratch ?
