This is a few miles up the Susquehanna from Havre de Grace. We stopped at the riverside public boat ramp and park just to get our bearings and were inundated with wild life.
Got this great shot of a Blue Heron just sitting there in the rain.... Come to think of it, I was sitting in the rain too. That's probably what the odd water effect is.
Anynow, click on the image to bring it up to full size. Got some great 'facial' on the boid.
Anyhow, we got some more stuff to see as well as some more birdy-birdy things.

WHat a beautiful capture!! ... beautiful heron here.... ( grits teeth ) oh mann i was comming home from shopping today the sun was setting and i saw one ( rare here ) at bridge port ... my daughter got out of the car too fast and he flew off as i was getting my camera setting adjusted.. i was sad about that !!
