Description
Just some daylight, beach, water with Poly and Gon. I think they want to go swimming...
Surfaces, terrain, atmosphere and water are mine. Overlay is Maydays wavy sand ... Slight levels adjustment, birds, frame, sig in PSP 9.
Many thanks to everyone for your continued support, encouragements and helps. I try to do something a bit different with each sky, here's hoping you enjoy it...

Lovely blues in the sky and water, great lighting and such a tranquil mood. I like the point of view and rippling sand. Cool terrain and a very nice foamy shoreline. Excellent!

You know I love your work. I recommend your images to everyone with a feeling for good images and art. But I have to admit, Pat, this is not your best one. The water looks too fake, and the mountains in the back two dimensional. What happened?

The overlay is very good. I would suggest you take the overlay file into PSP and bring down the yellow a bit making it more tan to white. Perhaps taking the sun to the left would reveal more details in the terrain. Add a bit of green in the atmo blue color and increase the density color. Another thing you might try is to play with the wave variation and patch settings. This picture deserves another post - it has great possibilities!

WOW what contrast you have here. Those blues, so deep and vivid set against the sand. I have to agree with some of the other comments though..not quite the 'realism' we have come to expect from your renders....but I love it all the same! :o)
Great use of overlays! I tried to do something like that, but didn't manage... You have a great shoreline, but I think it would be better with a bit more transparency. Great work on terrain and surfaces.

Hi Pat. The colours of the thumbnail stopped me dead. The big 'un is even better. So you CAN do strong colours as well! Marvellous terrain.
