It's not the best shot in terms of closeness, lighting, etc. but I love the expression on the female blue bird's face. It's like she's telling the other bird, get outta here my husband isn't done with his bath yet. :)

it is an excellent capture of the inneraction of the birds. sometimes when the opportunity presents it's self you just got to capture while you have the chance.
I'm with you, I love the expression and how she is mid-chirp at the intruder! What's funnier still is the slight cock of the dark bird's head... He looks so calm, as if he's thinking, "....are you done?" LOLOL! He's goin' NOWHERE! The blue of the male bluebird is astounding. I can NEVER get a good look at these. The never seem to remain in one spot beyond a couple fleeting moments. So yeah, I'm lovin' this image!
