Description
Passing over Greenland the other day, and made two shots out the window. I liked the way the bergie-bits were embedded in the sea ice, cracking up and finally getting their own fogbelt.

Here I've stitched them together into a long quasi-"slit-scan" photo. I gave up on color which was all blue and white anyway. It was a few minutes between shots, and the seam is not in the middle! It's about 150% the width and 80% the height of one shot.

What an awesome and breathtaking view! This is how I think of Greenland...all ice and snow but I know there's people and culture there. Amazing snap here!
Thats incredible image:)
So real it looks fake! I didn't notice the stitch until you mentioned it. Looks like a perfect location to shoot "At the mountains of madness". What a view!!
Beautiful shot. What horrible place for a plane crash. :p
That's one amazing image!!
Seamless presentation of some seriously seamed terrain. The B&W makes it look like a Shackelton documentary.
The globe-trotting roving photog does it again! Brrrrr!!!!
You really do get around (the globe that is!) Great shots Jim!
