Description
Another shot of the sleeping june bug -- this isn't as dramatic as the first one but I like it because you can see the little creature in more detail. I think I may be the only person on earth to consider insects

Excellent capture my friend and perfectly lighitng and colour!!! Well done... good day and kiss ;)
the june bug is beautiful. the bee is a capenter bee and they do get large. they make nests in walls of houses. if you find a perfect 1/2" round hole in your wall or door, then you may have guests. I have several macros of them and one is in my gallery. recently I posted a huge fly and it is the same size as carpenter bees
Beautiful colors and postwork!!!!! Awesome macro !!!!! Excel!!!!! ((V)) New photo
That's a great shot of this bug. You've got him so clear that you can see all the detail. I don't mind looking at them from a distance but don't like any insect or bug crawling on me I'm afraid, bit of a sook really.
An amazing Bug Nah there are at least two of us after we are gone as a species they will have survived!!
Exquisit detail of this June bug. One of the bugs I remember from childhood. Great clarity.
