Description
Found this place quite by accident. What a layout! It is humongous. Looks as if it is being refurbished/restored to mansion status. All those fire escape ladders and in-window AC units make me think this was subdivided into apartments. Given that UMBC is in town (Catonsvill), this would not be surprising.
Oh the details! Look at the lights outside, and get an idea of the lights inside... some are on. Love the contrasting shingling on the roof along with the picket-fence iron work on the roofline. Then the exquisite little round windows on top of those floor-ceiling narrow windows. Just a marvelous building!
We will be looking at more details of this place, and I will be checking the web to see if I can find any details on this. Going back to the Maison des Schlimblicks, I did find the floor plan on the web and spoke with neighbors about the house.... maybe I find the same for this!
Back to yesterday's post... yes a Birthday Party was or will be in the plan of the day for these folks. You gotta love the details on that house: the moon near the roofline, the contrasting stained glass windows. What you don't see is all the $#@! Cables strung across the front of the place. Yes, the Weese worked some heavy PW magic on that one. Man, don't people T H I N K before they louse up a nice facade????
OK, time for meds... Weese be nice now.! ;-)
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.
Gots another tour lined up for us after this one. Bring lunch and a windbreaker... NO, not THAT sort of windbreaker! (Sheeesh!) This a family site... Yes, there are all sorts of families. Good point.
