Description

In case those who have been observing my political cartoons haven't seen my Smiley Face cartoons... This is perhaps one of the most important political observations I can make. Each side has it's fears which drives it's frustrations (I would say that behind every anger is fear). I am only a person, and so I have my fears as well. For those who disagree with my views, keep in mind that my intent is not to anger you, but to point out and make others aware of what to me seem valid threats and concerns about how things are going. And yes, I am no great artist (I guess I often emphasize the substance of my ideas over the style of presentation-kind of like the "South Park" of TV animation). However, even bad art can convey something visually that words just can't do...

Well said. BUT did you ever consider that the terror and the tyranny might have a common source? Both families (or clans, if you will) have a history.Hmmm. The difference between paranoia and learning rests in what you percieve as "fact".

Panic is merely a gut reaction to something you can't control. We can't control the madness that is spawned by either runaway religion or by unfeeling politicking. BTW, I like the smiley's, makes a better statement than the standard Vicky with a Sword poised over the Earth. besides, most of the people that don't like the art don't normally submit much anyway.

previous post-Both of these points are exaggerated by governments to supress the people. @1358-"besides, most of the people that don't like the art don't normally submit much anyway." What a statement!!!

Something to realize - you are far more likely to be killed in a car accident than die in a terrorist attack. The Bush administration wants us to be deathly afraid so we'll willingly surrender our freedom in exchange for "protection". Meanwhile 9-11 could have been easily prevented if the Bush administration hadn't been caught with its pants down.
