Description

Happy Mother's Day

I LOVE YOU Mom!

Thanks for teaching me the meaning of HOT, the dangers of fire, as well as sparking the flames in me, giving me a burning desire to learn, understand, and know the more precious elements/forces of life!

You're the BEST!

By the way, just burning some yard debris, thought I'd grab a photo for fun! Thanks for looking, I hope you enjoy!

Wow, Troy! That is one of the better fire images I have seen for a while. Definitely has a strong composition that brings the eye all through the image... Excellent work and very creative not to just send you mom the flowers (like I did ;)) +++

Ah, wonderful dedication to your mother, who taught you that important distance! I still remember mum teaching me the danger of the heater, but turning it on early in the morning, keeping my hand on it until it got hot and telling me it's way hotter than this when operating on the rest of the day, and without any burns I knew never to touch it! Gorgeous work, Troy!

I made a lot of controlled fires as a kid... (learnt that from my dad). One day me and some friends lost a bit of control when some car tyres set on fire on a garbage heap in the woods; we nearly emptied the whole nearby creek before we managed to put the fire out... after an hour or so. ;-) Kids huh! I don't do it anymore, it's illegal to make a fire now, even in our own yard! I still like your image, though! ;o)

Wow...this is gorgeous! So brilliant and alive...the flames seem to be dancing! I love how that one pine cone is in flames yet still all in one piece. Amazing capture and a very sweet dedi to your Mom in picture and in words. :-) Sorry that I am so far behind in your gallery but I hope to catch up in the next few days. ;-) V
