Youre done with your calculus? YAAAAY FOR YOU!!!! So now we can....count (LOL...sigh...im sooo pathetic arent i?) on seeing you more i hope. I dont know what kind of bug that is...but it sure is freaky. It looks like a cross between a wasp and a dragonfly. Have a wonderful day Wendy. #:O)
I am not sure what it is either but it does look quite mean. similar to a wasp but much larger. you sure had nerves of steel getting that close. outstanding macro
Amazing how you take a shot from such little thing. Nature is so beautiful and you see it.
That is one weird looking bug. I guess there aren't many bugs that look "normal", but this one is even less so. Excellent image!
Excellent and very impressive shot. I think, this must be a kind a wasp, but i'm not sure. :)
Fantastic creature so well captured ! Superb !
wow it almost looks like he has this dopey smile on his face !! excellent macro capture !!....
Congrats finishing your examinations, eventually a bit of rest and preparations! Not sure about this species, you captured it well considered it's lively nature! Terrific work, Wendy!
Ooooooh you're brave!!!!I wouldn't get near that thing with a ten-foot pole!It definately looks like one nasty bugger!!!Fabulous macro though!!!
Amazing macro!!! Bravo :)
Superbe shot.. shapen it once with your photo editor tho.. Other then that I can tell you that you really did a wonderful attempt of a very closeup.. And i love the backgroung alot tho.. Keep Macroing ;) +Respect + VOE+!! Thanks for the post
You are keeping the camera working hard. Excellent photo!
Excellent macro. Fly Swatter!!!!!! Help! You are the best. Congratulations on the end of school. HUGS!!!
All I know is it has a stinger. You're one brave photogirl. Hope you did well on your math stuff!
LOL, I am forced to smile. I got comments on a few of my last postings because they showed me holding a few different snakes. I thought nothing of having done it because I had a firm hold on and total control of them all. There is absolutely no place to hold this wicked critter and no way to control its actions. That stinger looks as dangerous as any rattlesnake fang. I am not sure but I would say this is some species of ground hornet and I would bet whatever it is, it packs a whollop. The composition, lighting, and detail all come together with the great subject to make an outstanding photo. Well done.
WOW! This is one big bug! Excellent macro photography and you are to be commended for your vast patience; both in photography and calculus :-) Well done indeed!
