Whatever happened to artistic licence? That some should think it was a real battle scene and expect real waves from a 3D programme is only a testiment to the great job you have done here Ken Bravo my friend
Epic confrontation, bet they won't notice the awesome sky. Great piece of work!
Fantastic sky (not to be insulting but is it a picture), and excellent action scene, the demasting is superb and the fog of war.
Excellent work, Ken!
Excellent image. Love the broken bits and action. Very well done!!
Great atmosphere and mood here!! The devastation to the one ship is really amazing!!!
Wonderful scene! I love the sky and the atmosphere. I especially like the ripped sails :)
Stunning and dramatic!! I go for artistic liscence any day (even if I can't spell it! ;)
You have put a lot of work into this one Ken; and, it shows. A real life epic unfolds. You've created this well ...outstanding!

history is big inspiration for you - I like this arts from you -- you always create arts with special mood and full of action behind it with story - I like this quiet water and amazing sky -it's dranatic ! bravo and thanx
Absolutely photographic and exceptional artistry! Words fail me! V
Breathtaking as usual! And Wabe is right - this is not a "quick look" image - the longer you look, the more you find - excellent job! About the comments on the sails and positions - even if this was an illustration for the History Channel, I'd say, "so what?" Danob is right - artistic license - just enjoy the piece, which is wonderful!
Brilliant Work!
Excellent image and my first time looking vue images.I am afraid I do not understand a lot of the formats people use and exactly what goes into them. This makes it hard to comment. But is is a wonderful image and must have taken immense amounts of post work.Have a great day.Vote
Fabulous, Ken!!! My ancestor was Captain Isaac Hull of the Constitution! Definitely has to go into my favs!!!
Wonderful picture.
Beautiful work !!!!!
Absolutely (Splendid) ...
Ken, your sense of color to create a impact within a scene is uncanny. Picking that sky with the burning oranges which pick up in the flames from the cannon fire and burning ship is give the image an intense feeling that the whole environment is aflame in a maner of speaking. Once again you have created an outstanding work of art. You are still the master! "E"
