Description
I found this rather lonely railway tanker car parked off to the side of the road. It had been there for some time I would guess, especially since there was no track connecting to the 50 yards of track that this sat on. The car was still in fairly good condition, but as you can see, nature was starting to reclaim it. The vines wrapping around a large portion of the car seemed like tentacles that were trying to draw the car down into the ground. Sometimes taking a wrong turn can be very worthwhile (especially if you have your camera with you).
Shot with my Pentax K-1000, 50mm Lens on Kodak Tri X 400 ISO film. Scanned from the negative and the standard dodge and burn and levels applied.
Comments and crits are welcome, as always.
Thanks for stopping by and having a look.

Looking at the pic first I didnt understand...but after I read I got it. Nice pic. The vines add a nice touch.
And Overgrown!!! Nature and time reclaim everything. We are only visitors in this time and space, so need to grasp the sights and sounds as we pass in order to understand and enjoy. Thanks!!!! HUGS!!!
