Description
Thought i would do a project here that shows as much of the process i go through to create an image from first sketch to completed as possible--don't really have a name for this yet either except for Phase One. The completed image plus everything i did leading up to Last Phase will be included as a collage under this title of Needs Verk? So please keep checking back as it progresses.
Thanks for looking!
Update: Several versions of this image now exist--at this point those other versions will appear elsewhere in my gallery.

Some do, some don't. Who cares? There are Japanese monks who work forty years to be able to make one brush stroke in a microsecond. The "work" is seen or not seen in that one split second. The most left-handed compliment for a piece of art is, "That must have been a lot of work". So Horace, which many still don't understand, "Ars est celare artem." It is different with "crafts", and that may be one of the dividing lines. Strong ink line (what did you do bake the bond with lemon juice in the oven?) and it stands nicely on its own....
WOW!!! Hopalong! That was pure genius!! And so TRUE!! Some of the greatest works are done in a flash! As to the image? I love doodles!!! (Sketches) I have way too many in my gallery...I love to see others sketches, it is great to see the loose free form, ideas spill on to the page!!! More please!!
