This time is very very sad for us, our lovely dog Lafayette is dead yesterday after a long and difficult illness.we hope he is going right to the doggies paradise and he is in peace now.
This picture is to his memory.

Im so sorry to hear about your loss. Theres nothing quite loosing a beloved pet like that. I wish you and your family all the strenght you need to pull through this. Seeing now that you chose your RR-name after your dog, make it obvious that you loved him very much. I too picked "Zacko" after my dog that left me way too soon. #:o( Stay strong!!!

He has gone to the happy hunting ground and will be waiting for you and will never be ill again. It is so hard to lose a friend and a member of the family. I wish you my prayers for the loss that you have suffered.

It's always sad to lose a best friend. I am sorry for your loss.
What a handsome guy. All dogs really want is shelter, companionship, food and water, and some love in return. If they pick up any bad habits, they pick them up from us. Think it is safe to say that this old fellow had lots of love returned his way. Enjoy all of your wonderful memories.
Photos bring sweet memories to each day...your companion is gone from you now but you can rest knowing how much you added together to everyones life you touched. Smile when you think back for the happiness you shared was most definately lasting. We share your sadness but only you can still enjoy the happy memories. It brings tears to my eyes to see your dog passed away. We must all die. I, for one, have five of them standing up and ready to meet me in heaven. If I meet Lafayette there, I'll send him straight to you (and please direct my beloved budgie Chip back to me). Get a new puppy, and life will start al over again!

as a dog lover myself, i was so saddened to hear about your loss. It made me think about all my dogs that have gone over the years.It also made me remember that with time and when i was ready, the arrival of a new k9 friend was a tremendous way of coming to terms with a loss.
I extend my condolences also. I know how it feels to loose a loved pet. he looks like he had a long life although unless he had premature greying
I cant tell you how sorry I'm for your loss (my little Nick has gone for two years). And it is really hard to find any fitting words in english.
