Where's the sofa!? Scary and excellently done though IMVHO some variety of colors may have added dramatic effect if the lead Dalek the sole one of its color...
What a Fantastick! Image. Keep up the good work
Thank you VERY much! :-) I getcha. I wondered if I should have done something like that. So far, in the new series, I didn't see any difference in the new Daleks. Well, except for the Emperor Dalek.
Thanks, legomegacy! I'm suddenly learning a lot, from very close observations. Funny how your ability can suddenly jump a notch sometimes. :-D
Very nice. Thank you for sharing with us.
:-) It was an honor. I've been admiring the galleries for a LONG time.
Brilliant!
:-) Thanks!
AWESOME!!! I love robot baddies, and my old who fandom is now on the rise thanks to the new series' and moreso thanks to this X. O. LENT. image.
I love the new series!
Wonderful stuff.
Great image! What did you use as a reference?
Thanks much. I downloaded as many pics as a Google-search could get me on the new Daleks. And painstakingly referenced them as ai built the model.
Awesome modeling job!!! Love the lighting!
Thank you very much. It was a labor of love. Well, for a Dalek. ;-)
Awesome Daleks. If I remember the leader daleks used to be Gold colored, officers silver and kind of coppery bronze for foot (er... wheeel) soldiers. This must have taken you ages. You cant really tell that they are CG.
Thank you very much. I based them on the new Daleks, which ail look the same ( as far as I know ). I believe it took me 3 days of stdy and building, 2 hours of light experimentation, and 2 hours to render at 300 dpi.
"You will obeyyyy!" I haven't had the opportunity to see the new Dr. Who episodes yet, but these Daleks look great. The strong colors and harsh lighting give a comic-book feel to the scene. I like it. And one more thing... "Exterminaaaaaate!"
Thank you very much!
Awesome. Those are some well modelled Daleks, I bet it was fun to do too. Great Job.
Thanks. Yes it was. I was trying to be as accurate as my source photos allowed, and my understanding of Carrara 4 so far.
One of my favorite Sci-Fi shows ever! Rarely have a seen the Daleks look so good.
Blush.... Dankedoo!
These ar great, could have come from the series.
Can they go up stairs? Lovely image.
Terrific
We love your stuff your skill can only get better and that's scary Ha I think I just saw one move!
That is awesome, you have the darleks of to a tee :)
Fantastic work! The Darleks are my favorit enemy of the Doctor, then the Master! :D
