Description
PhrankPower's beautiful capture of the Memphis National Cemetary inspired me to post this view from The American Cemetary above Omaha Beach at Colleville sur Mer, France. Perhaps Memorial Day would be a fitting time and I'll probably post another picture on that day. However, I think this one is just fine for Easter.

This is a wonderful shot. Albeit, depressing. I think it is totally appropiate for Easter as well as any other day. The men and women of our armed forces must always be remembered. Without them we would not be even able to have these pictures to begin with. Happy Easter! :)
