Description
I don't guess I have ever seen a lizard having a drink but I did today. :-) I got as close as I could...any closer and he would have been out of there. I updated my homepage with a less grumpy looking photo, but had to use one that I took with my webcam so not top quality. Thank you for your comments on
"Grasshoppers on the buffet..."
I hope that every one has a Happy Easter!

most awesome capture of a lizard. they are hard to corral for a foto
Oooh! Youre telling us that that little sucker was running free? Ooooh! Thats just awesome, youre like a regular Stewe Irwin, LOL. Excellent work Wendy. Have a wonderful Easter you too. #:O)
Great capture! And what a marvellous creature! Beautiful composition as well. :)
Very cool! I've never seen one drinking either. That'll teach him to eat those salty fast-food grasshoppers.
great shot. you just keep sneaking up on those little guys don't you? I keep looking so keep posting
Wow...what an impressive guy. I think, it's very hard to capture them. Excellent shot!!!
Wendy... try using a spray bottle too. When I get lizards hanging out on my window sill, I just gently spray them with water and they start drinking it right up. If you spray the area around them... they'll also drink from that. Beautiful macro. Happy Easter!!
He he, lizards need water like any animal, though? Lovely capture, original work! Happy Easter to you as well, Wendy!
Sweet capture Wendy! Have a wonderful day!
