Now that's really cool! Could be a movie-stills or the cover of a book that would let me stay awake all night (because I can't sleep with all lights turned on). This street scene is indeed cool and so realistic. Makes me think on "West Side Story"... and you're right, nobody noticed the two pipes - until now ;o)
