Description
Shame on me I do not the exact name of the bird and far from being strong in ornitology, but thanks to Danny's (aka danob) influence I started shooting birds. Nothng similar to his fascinating birds' portraits, where we can see the characterof the bird, and every detail of coat and face, but hope I'll develop my skills.
Thank You,
-Anthony.

A beautiful and colorful bird. I know what it's called in norwegian, but I'm afraid that won't be of much help:) Very nice!
At first dlance I thought--robin. But the other markings make me unsure. Very nice pose.
Okay, just a bird. But a beautyfull one.:) Awesome shot. This image is really so peacefull...love it. :)
WOW! What a gorgeous finish this shot has. The contrast is absolutely perfect, and the grey "DOF" is genious!!! WOW! This is a killer shot indeed. Have a great Easter Anthony. #:O)

You skilled all right , if you can capture this little bird in its beautyfull color! I love it!
Excellent capture of this little bird:)
What a show off with his chest all puffed up.Trying to impress the world ,Lovely image and presentation.Have a great day
A wonderful capture. Great detail. The red breast makes me think it might be a robin, but the shape of the head isn't exactly like a robin.
Well done, especially on getting such a dark backgound for the subject.
looks like a Bullfinch to me, though the colours are a bit odd....
This is a Male Bullfinch Anthony and it is very well captured, here in the UK thse birds have had a hard time as they are not favoured for the damage they can do in orchards..
Very well done! Excellent
First thing is seeing bird, second is shooting them, third is recognising them! Terrific work, quite not 'just a bird' IMHO!
What a barrel chested specimen looks great !
