Description
Some chessmen I picked up on a jaunt through Bavaria... I'm sure many will recognize the set. Anyhow, I started painting these and gave up... not sure why. Mrs. W. finished the job and reworked my color scheme entirely. Much better than I was doing.
I've always been fascinated by chessmen. That's how I got involved in painting miniatures (some are viewable in the far end of this gallery.). Long story. Has to do with a coworker who was building a real 'Napoleanic' set using 90mm and 54 mm figurines. Figured I'd go 'barbaric' and took quite a detour.
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.
Shah Mat!
