Description
Sorry for the series of creepy spider pics. I have some others but I will not post them right now. :-) This little butterfly was in my garden today and was fairly cooperative. :-) Anyway I believe this is a grass skipper but I am unsure of the exact subfamily.
Thank you for your much appreciated comments! Have a wonderful evening!

fantastic shot. excellent macro
Superb macro! You've caught it at the perfect angle to the sun - thus showing off the vein/texture of the wings through light and shadows. Very very nice!
such clarity and sharpness. he/she is beautiful
He looks like a giant the way you captured this beauty.
Hey you guys... you don't remember Zacko telling about being 'attacked' by moths when he goes into his house during warmer months? Ya, I thought I was gonna need stitches from laughing so much. This is really great Wendy!! You could see here and count all those little hairs on it's body if you wanted too. It looks so velvety. As for the spiders... I don't mind them as long as they don't land on me. That's when I do my little "Holy Crap" dance. The neighbors love it!! {{VOTE}}
