Description
I was actually trying to capture a dirt dauber that was on these flowers just a moment before, but by the time I was ready to capture the dauber, it flew off, immediately to be replced with this fly, so I took the shot anyway!
Thanks for looking. Have a fantastic day!

Impressive macro with stunning DOF. I actually miss flies...sigh...stupid winter. But oh oh oooh, i saw a couple of mosquitos though the other day when it got a little warmer. Funny how those insects just seem to go into hybernation when it gets cold and then as soon as they defrost they start bugging you again. Ooops...ramble-alert...and i need to work! See ya Troy! #:O)

Amazing colors... wonderful macro here. I'm not so desperate for Spring as Andreas though. I'm Not wishing for more of these flies! LOL Excellent capture though. :-)
if there is a fly I like it would be one of these green beauties. I find that wasps do not cooperate at all when trying to get their picture
Flies can be beautiful sometimes, and here you've proved it...good work hugs
