This long abandoned merchantile is located in the Brinkleyville area of Halifax County, in North Carolina.
The image was captured on March 4th of 2006, at 3:29pm, using a Nikon D50 outfit.

The tree looks foreboding, as though it might attack and eat the old building. Eerie - but wonderfully done.
