Description
Taking our time moving around our 'Mexican' Room. Not all things are Mexican or even Latin... However, the eclectic melange (i.e., mix of unmatched, unrelated stuff) seems to take on a life of its own shelf-by-shelf such that 'it works.' In this regard, it's much like the USA... Nothing, no one has to be the same to just 'get along' and contribute to a pleasing whole... granted there is some work to be done, but our system allows it to happen.
An Arabic coffee pot with Lebanese teacups on a Brazilian curio cabinet.
I am playing more and more with filters and layers in combination. Four layers at work here:
original image, same again but run with a mosaic setting and about 30% opaqueness, overlayes of the coffe pot with some PW, and similar for the center teacup.
All surrounded by a thin, thin black flame frame.
(LOVE the alliteration!) and topped off with a very light black vignette well offset from the main image. The thumbnail is sporting a vignette with under coloring showing through... very fasionable this spring season.
Enjoy; thanks for viewing... go grab some Turkish / Greek coffee and contemplate.

hehe.. you could MC a fashion show.. coll effect of the mosaic.. maybe a little too much halo around the coffee pot? neat items :]
Beautiful still life in soft colors! It has a lovely mood! :)
Concur with Cynlee. Did this in a bright room and used a 'soft' eraser setting. Did not notice the halo was not totally gone. ... better luck next thyme. TW
Great placement and love the beautiful red tilework. Who would have tougth that there would have been such an eclectic mixture of items?
