Description
This is a simplified reproduction of an image that was painted by Lou Feck (at least that's what I think the inscription says).
I had a large print of this when I was in the 4th grade but alas, it is now lost. I did however find it on the cover of the Star Trek Reader by James Blish.
The original had lots of other details but this was quick and easy and fun so there ya go.

You have good taste and fine CG skills. Lou Feck (1925-1981) was one of my favorite SF cover artists. From Vincent DiFate's INFINITE WORLDS: "Lou Feck... painted covers for westerns, gothics, romances, political thrillers, and adveture novels. He was one of the most prolific paperback artists the field had ever seen and, at one point in his career, produced as any as three cover paintings a week on a regular basis."
Can science fiction ever have brand names or trademarks? Isn't by nature always software? Information art can look like hardware but it is dangerous to set precedent that it presages or trends hardware. History rewritten is media fraud. De ja vu UV map
I remember the ST Reader. Wonderful job with the art work here.
Oh yes! Now this is dead on perfect I love the way you Captured the Enterprise in her prime great work
