Cripes! Absolutely great work! :B eaver !
Super!!Good final effect!!Needed only zimmerit;)
I will accomplish the zimmerit with bump maps. Thanks for the comments.
Will you be adding more detail to the tracks and engine deck (grillework) with a bump map as well?
Yes,the tracks are already textured, I just greyed everything for a good look at the detail of the mesh. I will be posting more soon. Check out my gallery for a w.i.p. pic that shows the tracks.
Thats a good looking tank whats the file size? It has a lot of detail.
awsome!would like to see another view of it tho.
Who needs Zimmerit hehe really good job!
What superb detail! A great job! :0) Are the two fans a little too high (deep)?
Fans too deep? Depends on which version of the Panther you look at, and the camera angle. This looks very promising and I appreciate the time put into this. Being in medicine, I scarecly have time to do medical illustrations, let alone military modelling in 3D (have a lot in 1/76 scale plastic, though). Did download a lot of fine meshes from a site some 8 years ago, all in .lzw format, but being an older Lightwave format, they wouldn't open in Poser or Shade 7. Sigh! Where can I get armor that doesn't cost my shirt? Great going, ranman38! Keep up the good work.
