Description
Location: Cannock Chase, Staffordshire, England. March 4th 2006
Taken about 1 hour after my previous submission 'Dawn Walk'. After a crystal clear dawn the clouds rolled in fast and we had this really heavy snowfall for about 30 minutes, some of the first real snow this winter. The scene was dramatically transformed from the intense colours of sunrise to this monochromatic world devoid of colour.

Awesome old movie B&W style.! Brilliant shot. I feel like I'm on the set of Cold Mountain!
Masterful capture!

Fantastic to see the snow turning the world in B&W until the sunlight returns with a blue sky adding so much brightness to the world! Fantastic work, love it! :)
Winter's last gasp before spring? Summer has just concluded "down here" so it's nice to see another image of home that contrasts so much :-)
