After Girsempa's comment I took another look and decided to use a slightly different version with less banding. The banding-version looked good when printed out on watercolor paper, but so on the web.

Your previous image was full of contrast, this is quite the opposite! Makes me think of old alphabets carved in stone or clay(mesopotamian, or nordic runes). Beautiful! (watch out, there's 'banding' in the colors).
