Description
UFO was a British television science fiction series created by Gerry Anderson, first aired in the UK in 1970 and in US syndication over the next two years. There were 26 episodes including the pilot, filmed over the course of more than a year.
The premise of the show is that in the near future (a fictional version of 1980) the Earth is under attack from aliens.
To defend against the UFOs is established a secret organisation called SHADO (Supreme Headquarters Alien Defence Organisation). Operating behind the cover of the Harlington-Straker Studios movie studio in England, SHADO is headed by Commander Ed Straker, a former United States Air Force Colonel, who poses as the studio's chief executive.
The UFO alien for Poser is by Anthony Appleyard. You can find it at his website at:

See http://www.buckrogers.demon.co.uk/ufo/ufolinks.htm for some links re the Gerry Anderson UFO series.
This could make a good design for the DVD box. Actually, this series disturbed me as a child, especially that forced medical examination done on a captured alien. But I still watched it because the stories were gripping, if rather pessimistic. Better than the domestic Star Trek spin-offs!
Excellent POV my friend. Would be an awesome cover for DVD/book, really !
Nice work. Great models...V
One of my favorite Gerry Anderson shows...next to Space 1999 the sidereal sequel. I can hear the tell tale whirring noise of the UFO when I look at this.
That is a splendid celebration of the series.
