Description
"Hey," "you say. ""Ain't we seen this one before?""
Nope, that was 4726. This is 4725 heading up a line of seven (7) locomotives. I ain't never seen a string of motive power this long before this here pitcher. All are CSX stock in various color schema except for a lone BNSF near the end of the herd. As they are sitting on a siding and extending way beyond the bend, I don't know what they were hauling.
I was on my way into the inn for some crab cakes... some things take priority.
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

cool shot
trains holds a romantic adventuresome place in many people's hearts. I was watching last night about all the cold blooded killers traveling the rails and suddenly it looses some of the charm
I live right by the CSX tracks. They love Hanging on the horn at 4 oclock in the morning. Lochloosa Florida would not be a safe place to come visit if your an engineer. But a Good shot on your part.
I often hear CSX trains rumbling down the tracks... amazing how well the sound carries some nights.... And I live a few miles from the tracks.
i love the sound of trains too!! when i was little my grandma lived across the street from the train she would put little baggies on my feet and we would walk over and watch it pass i remeber the caboose man would always come out and wave to us cheerful . it was a good memorie this remids me of that ..!! wonderful shot!
ahhhh, as the tracks are visible from my house.. this feels like home :)
I wonder what they were hauling ? LoL !! I agree with you , must have been heavy or the wouldn't have so many engines. Great capture and now I am very curious !!~******~!! if you find out, let me know :)
Wow, all those locomotives combined together.... that must be some power! Gorgeous work! :)
Some of them may not have been on line. Alot of times they just move power around like this from one terminal to another. Still an interesting shot!
Excellent!! Bravo on this gorgeous shot! VOTE :-)
How many HP in all these machines ?
