I squish them if they get in the house! it is nerve racking to have one land on your face while sleeping. a person could give theirself a black eye trying to get rid of the extreme tickle. excellent macro. surprised it held still long enough to get youe foto. they are ver afraid of humans
I'm afraid I'll squish you if you come into my house! Superb capture! The shadow is stunning! Bravo!!!
I dont love very much this insect, i dont love to kill them, but there is some limits! and i dont know what i do in this case...
Just as long as he isn't a mosquito... ;]
Wonderful macro and splendid shadows!!! Bravo :)
Gorgeous little macro.. ekkk!!! braver than me.. stunning shadow ex:)
Beautiful colors on this insect. Excellent detail, lighting and macro.
Crane flies are entirely harmless and will sometimes land on you and just look as if to see just what you are...LOL! Excellent photography!
Wow, quite a stunning capture of this crane fly! Impressive work, Wendy! It looks so detailed! :)
Awesome shot! You do great macro work!
great cranefly capture! they usually move before i have a chance to snap the shutter, so this is really impressive! (and, they eat mosquitos, so you wouldn't want to squish them!)
These are beneficial bugs. Unfortunately, some folks think they are giant mosquitoes...very nice shot will all the legs. TomDart.
Great macro:)
Looks like a mozi to me, so I would squish him... sorry. Love the texture underneath him! I see you have my prefered cam! I only have an FZ5.
Bzzzz ! We know hardly los mosquitos in Provence ! Great brilliant capture, Wendy !
Fantastic macro! Great shot!
Great capture Wendy! I would never squish one of these guys, as they are squito-hunters and will eat 'em, every chance they get. Besides, they are essentially harmless (don't bite or sting). Have a great Sunday.
