Minsk Mail by TwoPynts

Well, I'm not sure if the size is impressive, but my package here is certainly well traveled. From Belarus, Minsk all the way to Boca Raton, USA and your computer monitors across the world. I'll leave it to your imagination as to what this package contains, but I will assure you that it is not a mail-order bride! I was struck by how the surface of the paper is reminiscent of newly fallen snow in the late afternoon light -- minus the printing on it of course! ;'] ----- Thanks for your rumpled comments on my last upload, Crumpled Corner.

Very cool!! You know, this is the kind of stuff stock photography houses might be looking for - although that's a tough business to break into. Technically, this is just really excellent. Artistically it's clever and evocative!
Nice series Kort! KP
very fine macro and interesting subject
I'll bet that package contains a brand new set of macros, am I right? :) The lighting and the contrast of typesets with the sharp and soft focus really work in this one. It always gives me such pleasure to see your latest offerings; they just keep getting better!
very cool lighting and composition Kort!!! well done my man, very well done!!!
She'd be cramped if it were!! ; ) Love packages from far off! (As long as they don't tick!) love the depth of field, and the brown paper texture is lucious!!!

And Mr.D 'delivers' another winner!Such fascinating textures on your,ummm,package...especially the contrast between the surface and the ropey twine...Sorry to hear you're not going to tell us the contents...Not a mail-order bride,eh?Hmmm...maybe it's a Minsk 'male',lol!-M ;^) MAS4eva!
Very fashinating shot!!!!!bravo!V:DDD
LMAO @Marlenalouche - there might even be a little King Kong (zipped version) in it... :) Excellent work, love those textures!
Very nice texture and I love the colour of it :) Great shot, Kort :D
I must be hones and say that I envy you for these items as they are also great props for photography still-life but also collages. This series is one of my favorite of yours. Thank you for sharing.
Its like a photo-mystery and you keep givin' us clues! I'm wonderin what ya got too! You're unique view shows that stuff normally taken for granted or overlooked, can be quite visually appealing. Some of us just need to learn to LOOK at things around them differently...with their "Photo-sense" and take the time to explore their options.
Another wonder of this serie ! It seems a very old one ! Superb shot and postwork. I confirm.... the size isn't impressive, lol !!!
Packaging is were it is at according to Janet, but then we all are...., excel closeup:):)..V
OK Buddy! You got me standing on my toes wanting to see whats inside. Cut that twine...lol Love this series. Aloha
so clear and crisp! it brought me back to when i was little my grandparents used to wrap the present that would come in this kinda string . Come to think of it i havnt seen a package wrapped like that in a long while! great shot!

absolutely love this series
All the texture here is fantastic, the paper, print and especially the twine. Great shot.
Great macro of this postmark.
You transfer a simple mail package into beautiful work of art ! Magnificent!!!
"On the house!", slurred the White Russian waving Kahlua and vodka, "Black Russians on the house!" Looks sharp, very sharp indeed.
A well traveled package that's for sure...and nice close detail of it too! I say since you didn't bust into it right away that it's a fruit cake from aunt Edna~ and I'm sure if that is what it is, you will be forwarding it on to someone else unopened soon...heh heh~ Aloha!
from Russia with love...such a well seasoned world traveler!
I can just about hear the crinkle of the rough paper. Fabulous in every way. (lol@janet jackson) :0)
quite a story really. by the way, Buelorussia is not Russia and has never been
Excellent concept for a still life! Love the textures and the sense of mystery :)
Unique photography... Congratulations, very awesome atmosphere..
