Description

I did a point of view render which is similar to one that was used in the show. I've matched this POV closer which requires a 35mm lens but it's pretty distorted and I didn't like it as much so I stuck with this 50mm POV. This has had considerable post work done on it to try to get it washed out and blurred like the show. Just fun. Welcome to Classic Star Trek Enterprise. -Kix

and to think, it still looks way more realistic than the show, very nice :P

Very nicely done! I do believe this would fool even the Great Bird himself, rest his bones.

Just like regular tv back then before cable and all that, really this is where it all began with far out space ship designs , excellent job!

Great postwork, it's very difficult to match an old TV shot but you did a great job. My compliments!

Video is like that with only 330 lines I finally found out. That only came out when 550 lines was being touted. Then PC's and the Hercules adapter led to VGA (was that 640x480?) any way twice TV and non-interlaced. No gun cameras on F-16's.

Looks convincing. The actual film quality was very good though. Just the transfer to television was done poorly. The DVD's of the first season are crystal clear.

I really like this image. Excellent work. maybe you could animate it and have the Enterprise orbit a planet - now THAT would be cool!

Looks awesome but the show enterprise had a slightly glossier look to it, and the front of the engine nacelles should be a bit redder and brighter. I would remove the blur and maybe put in just a few grain speckles like the original chemograph images from the show.
