Description
While returning to the car, after shooting a scenic I have yet to post - I came across this unusual site of a snakeskin hanging from a bird's nest, I had to capture it!
This photo was taken on January 20, 2006 at 1:08pm, using a Nikon D50 outfit.
Have a most wonderful day, thanks for looking!

Okay Troy. I see white in the front sort of balled up, and I see white and brown in the background-that actually looks like the snake itself! Am I seeing it right? Maybe I need another cup of coffee! lol.
The snakeskin is underneath the nest, with it's head pointing directly toward the ground.
what an unique find and excellent capture. what birds collect for nests is usually anything they can carry so it is not a surprise except a pleasant surprise seeing this
Pretty darn weird ! I've never run into anything like this, but snakes can, and do, get up to some crazy antics :o) ...and I see the new toy is doin' you proud...the shot is awesome...WOW !
Looks like the snake had a nice snack :P Really interesting shot.. and excellent composition, as is your style :)

superb image! and a strange find!!!
Those birds use anything they can find to build their nests, even that snakeskin! A great find, Troy!
Very unique shot! Hope the snake didn't leave that there after dining on the birdies.
And you are sure that is just the skin? wow his whole head and all.
It's the penthouse for the bird family..I guess they had the snake over for dinner and he forgot his coat when he left...lol.
really good eye you have for noticing things cool find!!
As W.C. Fields would say: "Great Snakes!"
