Description
Three digital photos I shot last summer were merged with a Vue Esprit 5.0 rendering I created today (Jan 15, 2005)... The smoke was created with my cheapo Watcom tablet in Paint Shop Pro version 9... I also used PSP for final compositing...

very industrial and looks like some areas around Dallas. excellent pov and art
Kool mix Ken, next time try the liquify filter in photoshop for your smoke FX, you will find you can achieve much more realistic results with this process, just a suggestion...Great stuff & ~ Cheerio ~
they making something there ; real cool looking / very good job
hmm..don't know about a refinery, but it's the spittin' image of a coal-fired power plant..;) (s'ok..worked for several years on one). The important thing is that it's a great picture..keep it up.
Of course you are right...it is a coal fired power station... My mistake...
Very nice, and I kind of like the smoke, very artistic. Very nice work, I really like the ground texture.
Brilliant composition! Has a very cold industrial feel to it, and yet there is something calm and serene about it as well..perhaps the stars? Love the smoke! Gotta love those Wacom tablets!
Splendid work with an already slightly scary looking atmosphere! I really love this scene! BRavo!!! V
You have created a very barren and ugly place Ken...the kind that the world could do without! But you have done it excellently! Well done! I must sign up for Greenpeace ASAP! :-)
when i first saw this i thought you painted this, nice effect ken.
I love this composition ... it verges on surrealism. Fantastic combination of photography and 3D ... Excellent! V
Very nice composition. and point of view. I will agree that somehow it looks surreal. Beautiful :-))
