Great shot, Akemi! It's not often that you can get that close to a dinosaur. :-)

impressive macro and isn't he just about the purttiest lizard you ever seen!!!
Good Greif Akemi, this is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! what colors & perfect clarity, WOW!!!!!!!!****** I've never seen a clearer shot of an iguana!!!!!
I don't know how you could have gotten much closer?? This is a superb image Akemi!!!!!! One of your best shots!!!!!!!V
Fantastic! Impressive "design" and wonderful guy.
Great picture but tell your friend he has metabolic bone disease and is in poor health. UVB and UVA lighting is probably insufficient and even a proper nutricious diet wont amount to much without it because he can't metabolize his food. Lower jaw is receded back and eyes are a bit poppy. Another year and his kidneys are going to fail. This is not an easy animal to keep healthy in captivity. U.S. alone kills approx 500,000 green iguanas prematurely per year by keeping these spectacular creatures as pets. Many iguanas are already on the worlds endangered species list.
Aww if that is true, I'm sorry to hear it TwiddleDee. Regardless, it is an outstanding photo of this very colorful and seemingly full of health Iguana Akemi. The detail and clarity is outstanding and he sure looks like a dinosaur to me!! Amazing creature!! Vote!
Is he real? Brrrr, so impressive!!What a original one!Good shot!
Beautiful & noble portrait. Sad if the state of his health is indeed that bad...
Hi Rogan nice to meet you! You're right Akemi, he is well looked after, look at those shiny scales! Excellent macro =)
