Description
In the days of pre-CGI,
if you wanted to try something different with a piece,
you just got out a new board and started all over again.
Or put in a more mercenary way,
if I sold a painting that got good reactions (i.e. lotsa bids),
I'd just make another copy and sell that one too.
These are about 20" wide.
One of these days I'll have to make a big version , say 40" wide and in widescreen format.
The Federation ship is a raider based on a Trek production design by Syd Mead
(he wanted the rebuilt Enterprise to have a triangular lower hull).
My raider was purely an attack vessel designed to deal with Doomsday Machine-level threats.
It carries externally a pair of escort vessels and internally a squadron of armed shuttles.

Holy Copernicus, Batman! There sure is a lot going on here. Mixed media and mixed fleets, by the look of it! Space is just getting so crowded these days... let's just charge up the plasma cannons and make some room. ;)
Looks like the Federation is losing...it appears that they've all lost their shields, have run out of Photon torpedos and their Phasers are down to 20%. Otherwise, I think the Empire's Cruisers would have already been vaporized.
interesting image with intriguing mixed-SF universes connotations
