Very impressive, Dave. An explosion from colours. Well done.
Great work!
A fantastic image - love the woody colours and the movement - well done :O)
Beautiful work. Lovely paintbrush effect and warm earthtones in your colouring. Very well done.
Thanks guys - when finishing it off (bearing in mind the title) I was aiming for a somewhat terrible beauty giving a slightly uncomfortable feel, I'm not sure if it comes across though ?
Strong floral pattern in beautiful warm tones Well done
Fantastic colors and shapes, excellent work!
I'm glad you finished it; it's a beauty. As for 'a somewhat terrible beauty', that's not particularly how it comes across to me - the structure of it gives me a slight feeling of vertigo (all that stretching and pulling from different points), but the harmony and naturalism of the colours is too comforting for me to get a strong sense of terror. I hope that makes sense and/or is helpful. :-)
What can I say? Wow, I love it:)
