Lovely to see some green again. Thanks Jodie!-M :^)
And for illustrating the heat of summer....you picked a logg? Eh...okay. Sure i suppose they generate quite alot of warmth....when thrown in the fire, lol. Such a pretty shot Jodie. The texture of that bark and those leafs look perfect!!! Im also sick of winter...nice knowing its only 5 more months left of it...SIIIIIIIIIIGH!!! LOL. Have a wonderful week you! #:O)
I can even smell the sawdust! (No, wait, that might be my coffee...) What a pick-me-up for a cold winter's morning (your photo, and the coffee!) Great work! ;)
i can't blame you for needing a reminder after a couple of cold sunless weeks
Sweet memories to that glorious summer... sigh A new summer is being prepared! :)
Perfect tonic, dear Lady. The bark looks like something jurasic, lurking in the leaves ready to pounce - (o my, they said the drugs would catch me out one day!)
That's a tree-rific picture..I'm a little stumped as to whats on the leaves. Thanks for warming us up,,,that tree might be warming someone's fireplace..lol.
a wonderful nature impression. great light and colours. i like your eye for detail. simply excellent done,Jodie. !!!!!!!!!! #:O) !!!!!!!
wonderfully shot i have always loved the rings on a tree and count them to tell the age!! ... a big hello and happy new year to you Jodie!
A wonderful image, but an even nicer thought. Around here it is green year 'round due to the conifers, but I still miss the summer folliage and sunshine. As you say, warm colors warm the soul too. Thanks for the summer "cheer."
