Description
The terrain came from a series I made to find the right balance between polygonal spikes and ridges; I don't like these cones (most of the times!) but love ridged terrains ;-) This 2049er terrain was what I had in mind.
Mood was created while listening to the music of Madrugada, a Scandinavian band I recently discovered. (Madrugada, Spanish for the hour before sunrise.)
Thanks for dropping by and comments.

There is also a beautiful guitar tune called Madrugada, which was composed by Jerry Reed, a fantastic american guitar player... you should listen to it, very inspiring, as is your render btw !
Looks great! Superb landforms!
Superb huge terrain, wonderful atmo and mood! :)
The terrain turned out pretty darn good. Great surface map and the atmo is terrific! Great image!
Superb ! Terrain, atmo, colors are really excellent.
A superbly done pic- the POV is really jaw-dropping, and the surfaces work well with the somewhat "sullen" skies.
Wonderful atmosphere and mood! Great job on the terrain
Wonderful terrain, the spikes (very slight ones from this POV) are a perfect touch of realism. Superb terraces as well. Wonderful POV which shows the barest hint of water :)
I'm learning everything I know from your work.
Great Terrain and surfaces. I really like your atmo and sky, too.
