Taken moments before yesterday's photo just after midnight, this time facing the opposite direction. As I mentioned, more than one of my neighbors were setting off large amounts of fireworks. I probably could have bought a very nice SLR for what they spent on them -- sigh. I know the composition isn't the best, and the rockets are a bit overexposed, but I really like the drama of the lighting here, and the drifting of the smoke. Beautiful capture of these fireworks, Kort! The cloud is somewhat confusing for me, is it smoke or is it fog in the air lit by the firework? :)

Beauty here Kort, at least you got some rich neighbors putting on a show for you...No aerials allowed on the island..you have to throw your fireworks in the air for some cheap thrills...sad. Aloha!

unusual location for a fireworks shot (usually i see a lot of shot with so big buildings....) looks very beautiful and a little bit surreal! cool image!
